Matching boat carpet

I found some carpet that is really, really, close to ours.  The website is www.boatcarpetbuys.com  I requested a sample of the 16oz and the 20oz in gunmetal gray.  They are the closest to or if not the exact color match that i have found yet.  I got a roll of 16' X 6' shipped to my door for only $89.00.  I am going to have snap in carpet made to go over the original.

Wow that's a good deal on carpet. It's not like the 40 oz. factory stuff but for an overlay, that's perfect. Also for all the trim areas.

Please post a pic with the snap in carpet, are you getting it hemmed around the edges and stuff?

Yea, hemmed and all.  I am going to shape it myself and let the upholstery shop do the rest.  i will post pics when it's all done.

I purchased the 40 oz carpet from Corinthian.  They require a minimum $100.00 (including the cost of shipping) order so I ended up only buying 6'x4' piece.  I'm sure I don't need that much for the Fresh Water Cooling System cover.

I'll let you know how much I have left over if anyone is interested.
