accuski rpm control ?????
« on: May 14, 2008, 03:09:16 am »
How do you switch from mph to rpm on the control?  I have looked on the accuski for dummies, and on this site, but can't find how to run the cruise on the rpms of the engine.  I try to run on the mph, but it pulls out after about 30-40 seconds of runing. I have the 2001 x-22 if that helps.  Thanks for any help. Bart

Here's the trick. Not being a smartass. Disattach any hardware related to Accuski and throw it over the nearest fence.

I mean it. Install Perfect Pass. There is no fix for Accuski, but PP is absolute bliss. I would actually buy it for you if I were a rich man.

Thats the problem, I'm not a rich man either, so I have to deal with accuski right now.  So if anyone knows how to switch to rpms, please let me know.  Thanks Bart

Bart:

Since I've switched to Perfect Pass I can't verify these instructions:

Navigate to the wakeboard or trick sub menu (T button) that displays the PUrate, WbTimer, Mode (see page 4 of AccuSki for Dummies).  To change the AccuSki to RPM, select the Mode item and change from Speed to RPM.  This should give you RPM control instead of MPH-Speed.

Not sure if this will solve your problem.  Good luck!

Pete,
Since you're almost rich I'll make you a deal. I'll split the cost of PP for my boat with you. Thanks! You're awesome

Sure. I'll send you a cashiers check for 100,500.00 from my Nigerian bank account. I am unable to access funds in my country and I heard you are a man of your word and can help me and my country.
