There was a bulletin written about a small number of boats shipped with the ballast pump wired backwards, and I have one of the pages from that bulletin in a pdf. Unfortunately, I can't open Paint or Photo Editor on this machine and can't make a bpm or jpg out of the screen cap. Pete has the whole pdf but didn't post that piece of it (probably cuz it's an orphan).
The easy question is whether the pump's worked correctly before and is just now having problems.
And just so you know, my S22 gathers bilge water forward on a normal basis. To drain all the water from the bilge, I used to pull the boat up the sloped driveway, then block the tires. Next, I 'd put a 4x6" or better under the jack and crank it as high as the jack would go. In other words, it doesn't drain out the garboard drain very well. Now, I just bring the wet/dry vac into the boat and suck it out.
