Something we did when I owned my Subaru STi has sparked an idea in my mind...

Maybe we could set a location and date (probably the 1st/last day of our roundup) and have a maintenance session.  Where we could help each other, using our combined experiences, to fix/remedy small issues.

We actually contacted Subaru, got approval to use their dealership parking lot, and brought like 50 WRXs there.  They let us use tools and manuals.  They even had a couple service advisors around to give us tips.  Quite a few bystanders stopped by thinking it was a carshow.  Wonder if a Toyota dealership would do something similar.  Could be really cool PR if they had 20 Toyota boats sitting in there lot!!  Just an idea...

If you have it at Lewisville Lake you can use my backyard as your meeting point. It's a hotel a couple miles away and the boat ramp is just a 1/4 mile away.

I found this link for Texas lakes.  It has some good descriptions of the lakes and the areas surrounding the lake.  It would be great if someone either lives on a lake or there are rental properties on the lake.  I think this would be easier for folks to come and go via the waterfront.  I think Westtx had an awesome setup reserved last year on Lake Travis that we were planning on using as a meeting point and gathering location (it had a couple slips, an outside bar, and a large yard area).  Anyone have any ideas on when we should try to get together?

If I can get my current house sold, then my new house is 1/4 mile from Dwayne, so I 3rd his idea.

Hey guys...checking into the sight again after a few months off. We have our house rented at Travis again the week of the 4th of July. Hopefully the lake won't go up 20 feet again!

where at on Travis?  I'm sure we will be in Devils Cove on the 4th to party and then Carlos N Charlies for the fireworks but I'm sure we will be doing some riding up on the North end of the lake at some point during the weekend, maybe we can meet up.

We just moved into the new place about 1/3rd of a mile from Dwayne's....7/10ths of a mile from the boat ramp. It's not lake front...my lottery numbers haven't come up yet.

The house is in the Bee Creek area. Long ride to Devils in an E22 with boat traffic, but we'll be there all week.

that's cool, I store my boat at Hudson Bend Storage and can haul it out to Pace Bend Park and shoot up to the Perd.  maybe we'll see you out there.
