Talk to Flyn2001 on this site.  He had a guy pick up his boat in Orlando, FL and deliver in San Antonio, TX.  I know he liked the guy and was very happy with the service.  Are you buying an Epic or something else?  If it's an Epic, be sure to register and let us know what your home lake is.  Good Luck.

A couple years ago I bought some Jet Skis in Utah - got a couple price quotes from 1800-2400 to haul back to tennessee.  Found the website uship.com  and a boat transporter was in denver driving to NC later that week coming back empty.  This is when when gas was was still in the 2 buck range and he didn't want to drive back empty.  500.00 bucks and saved me 35 hrs roundtrip worth of driving.  try that site out.  you can check the feedback for the hauler, insurance, etc.

Zoonwen...

Welcome to the Epic site.  Like Ktown said, I bought my boat in Florida and had it shipped here through U-ship.com.  Go there and register online.  The guy who gave me the best price has a Uship name of "dg2000".  He is retired military and did a SUPERB job of bringing me my boat.  He also kept in touch with me through the entire transaction.  Believe it or not, he actually drove down there, met the seller, picked up the boat, and delivered to me in one non-stop trip!  I requested the bid from Florida to San Antonio and he quoted me $950.00.  Then when I found out he lived in Tx, I asked him how much more to take it to Del Rio, Tx (~150 miles further).  He drove the extra distance for free!!  He takes pride in treating your stuff like its his stuff.

Another thing...I recommend you go to escrow.com and get an account and use them for your transaction, unless you are going to fly down and check the boat out in person.  If you decide to use them, let me know and I can give the scoop on how it works.  Good luck with the boat.  Is it an Epic?  If not....DON"T BUY IT!!  j/k

Check some of Cyclone's posts from when he had his new boat moved cross country last year. I believe he used someone from the same website and had a great experience.
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.
