Bad toggle button on the computer
« on: October 06, 2008, 22:34:42 pm »
Hey, has anyone else had a problem with the toggle (T) button on their computer not working?  I have tried pushing the T button lightly and firmly, but cannot get it to move off of the first main menu.  It did toggle to the second menu just once out of the many times that I tried, but not since then.  I am wondering if the contact is bad underneath the button.  Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Clint

PS - I already tried turning the key off and back on, but to no avail.

I had problems w/ mine about a year ago or so.  I ended up buying a used (dang near new though) one from someone on this site.  I had more problems though like burned out pixels/lines through the display.  Anyhow, I used to push the button in hard/firmly (so to speak) to change the display.  Now that I think of it though, maybe my problem was with the "E" button.  Can't seem to remember.

The Down arrow does not work on mine.  I'll try this on my boat also.
