Look what I did
« on: May 23, 2009, 04:48:44 am »
I saw the fresh air exhaust and thought Hmmmmm.  So I welded one up for me.  They say that it reduced the exhaust noise by 50-75%..............Wrong.  Not for our boats.  You ready for this, I can't even hear the exhaust at all now.  Literally.  I surffed behind it the first time I put it on and all I could hear was the wave.  It is pretty noisy that wave. but the bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  is gone.  Some of you may think "he might hit somthing with it, "  yup I could but i'm going to take out the prop and rudder first.  I am not too worried about it.  The fresh air exhaust has a flip up, but thats ok.  It does flip up water onto the swim deck at high speeds but wakeboarding and surfing is all good.

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that's awesome!  how is the wake when you surf? how do you distribute the weight in your boat?  I haven't dialed mine in yet for surfing but it seems to like weight in the front..
