Story of my life.  Having been in there I was a bit disturbed by how much crap gets by the spark arrestor. I went through 7 cans of carb cleaner just to get the inside of the intake manifold clean to my satisfaction. Anyone run a Filter or something to keep crap out?

yeah the throttle body gets real dirty. i posted a pic of mine before cleaning it aswell. im sure you could fab up or find some pipe from a 4 banger intake kit with a K&N filter. ive noticed they sell some of those intake pipes at auto parts stores.
