cant say I'm a big fan of the home page however, i am glad to see some new advertising that i assume is helping pay for the site.

I asked Les if he wouldn't mind trying some different stuff, the way the old forum home page was set up, it looked like "Fixmy POSbrokenToyotaboat.com. Repetitive posts with same superfluous oil warning and gauge alarms. SO, he gave the place a new look. I like it, I guess a lot  depends how you bookmark things and what browser you use. All the same information is there, it's just the intro page that's different. I'm on Firefox 3.5x and I really like it.

I like the ads, google hears "boat" and "weight" and gives us boat sales and eating disorder clinics!

This format does not tell me when a new post has been added to a thread. It also goes to the beginning of each thread when you click on it and not the latest post. So far I have not had to cruise through more than one page to reach the latest post on a thread.

Mine still shows me the new threads and goes to the last post of any thread if I click the blue down arrow at the end of the title.

THe posts are in order based on the latest comment to the post, so if you post a reply, it moves to the top. It just does not list all replies on the homepage. THere is also a link now to the right of the search that links to all unread posts. It may require login if you are not already logged in.

Also, it is only pulling from the epic forum board, not classifieds.

PLease give it a try and you may find it actually more usefull since you can view more topics with recent replies rather than just the same topic replied to multiple times in succession on the home page.

Wreck, you must be viewing a cached version or something because the blue arrows are gone.

Wreck, are you coming from the homepage? http://www.epicmarine.com? or are you coming from the forum? forum still has the blue icons. Only thing that's changed is on the homepage.
