Replacing Nav light
« on: September 28, 2004, 18:19:54 pm »
OK, this is probably the dumbest question ever posted, but how do you replace the front nav light bulb in the front? I checked the how- to's and nothing, and I took tried to disassemble the light as much as i could, but never got to the bulb. Does that whole unit have to be replaced?

I was able to AScertain that it is one bulb glowing both Green and Red sides.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but nothing came up when searching on all the forums...

On my 1999 Epic 21 there is a screw in the back then the top pops off.  The green and red thing just screws to the left and pops off to expose the bulb.  After visiting several auto parts stores without luck finding the bulb I did some searching online.  It looks like the bulb is a JKL A3173B and it is available at http://www.mouser.com .  I'm going to pick up a few of them since shipping runs around $6.
