ACME Prop
« on: July 14, 2011, 17:38:01 pm »
Would like to try aCME 449 prop on my SX but recieved prop by courier yesterday and there are several small nicks in the edge of the prop and one small dent 1/2 inch in the prop near leading edge close to the shaft, my idea of perfect condition and sellers is a little different,   question is would you run it ? hard to pick up the imperfections in a small picture

The prop can probably be repaired.  Darren at Precision Propeller in Spokane modifies and repairs props. He has all Acme prop models in stock and services boat dealers all over the western US. I recently dinged my prop and he took my stock prop on trade towards a new Acme 515. Give him a call, he can probably have it back to you quick.
