Landed 1st new invert of the season
« on: May 17, 2006, 17:10:09 pm »
Went out monday after lunch to get my lake fix despite the bad north winds.  It was me and 3 beginner riders and was just planning on helping them so I mildly weighted the boat with 300 on each side of the engine.  By the end of my second set I had landed everything I know and started working on some new spins/inverts.  On the 3rd attemp of the day I landed a toeside backroll to revert and am completely stoked.  I have tried on previous days but something just clicked that day and I came close to landing 2 other new tricks the same run.  I love this sport!!  So many new things to learn and so little time ;)

BS- you kill me, here's my interpretation of your post-
"I pretty much own everything I have tried so far, so I decided to push the envelope, and whattayaknow!  Nailed it."
here's my equivalent--
"I tried that wake to wake 180 again and craped my shorts because I thought I was going to catch the front edge...again.  Still recovering from my ollie 180 where I caught the back edge, which spawned some whiplash symptoms.  I dont heal anymore, slow or fast.  I love this sport!  So many body parts to injure and so little time"

LMAO Fest!  I know a 45 year old that throws down 360's and flips all day long.  You just act old and your body will respond as being old lol.  Eat healthy, excercise, and ride often as possible and your body will get stronger.  Look at Geri Nunn

I know, I just don't get to ride as much as I want to.  Even in the summer, I am lucky to get one-two sets per week.  Then the week at Powell isn't much better with a boatload of family and friends.  If only if only if only.
