Supra and Toyota Epic
« on: July 31, 2004, 05:50:19 am »
I hit something under water 2 weeks ago and it ruined the prop, strut and driveshaft and I took it to my local supra dealer and low and behold, the strut and driveshaft were the same as they use on the supra, good information to know.  I got it back today, can't wait to hit the water tomorrow :)

"It must be something in the water"  ;) I hit a submerged Island on  July 1st. There's is a lot of mis-information out there, the local Toyota Dealer said that they would need to Cast a new Strut up special (8 wks and big bucks).

What a bunch of bull... I emailed Rick Cohn, Toyota had 13ea in stock for $154.00.

Total on the damage $9,400.00, I'm glad  to have the insurance. Full replacement Value, it'll only be $250 out of my pocket. I should have it back Aug 21st.
