New to epic

I am the proud new owner of a 1999 epic 22 WT with 345 hours! Very clean boat inside and out...at the marina where I had it checked out pre sale compression etc... one of the employees offered me 1000 more for it than what I just paid!  All the guys there loved the boat, as do I! Thank god for this forum because otherwise I would have let this boat go due to the fact that I had such a hard time finding a marine mechanic that would even touch it. After a dozen or so calls I found a guy who maintains 2 other epic boats in the Nashville area. He said the one I have is hands down the cleanest that he has seen! I loved hearing that! Everyone was astonished to hear what I was paying for the boat...I couldn't give the previous owner the money quick enough after hearing what they were saying! Just want to say hi to all! I'm sure I'll be in need of help with something regarding the boat in the very near future!

Welcome to the forum! Anytime someone gets a new awesome boat, pictures are in order.  Well, pictures are in order almost anytime, but that's a subject for a different thread!  Anyway, sign up on the boat registry and check back to the forum regularly; especially over the summer.

Welcome to Epic ownership and to the site. You will love both. The site has a great collection of folks that are always willing to help out. For instance, "try changing your plugs"...whew, that is about the extent of my technical advice. Hey, it works most of the time...
