Ballast Sack Repair
« on: September 12, 2013, 01:00:40 am »
I have the factory blue ballast sack and one of the black elbows coming out of it is cracked.  Anyone have any ideas on getting a new elbow and vinyl cementing it in.  I am selling the boat so I am trying to stay away from buying a new bag.

Try cpvc cements with a primer first.

I will give that a try. Thanks. Any thought on a new elbow?

I use the same sack in the v-drive locker,  I put in a copper elbow in the elbow then I cemented and clamped the broken elbow to the copper elbow.  It was a copper elbow used for plumbing plastic water lines in the house.
