So this morning we pull into my favorite riding spot (Dwayne, you know the place).
It's 6:40 am and the lake is glass and the sun is just above the hills on the horizon across the lake. We put in the boat the water with the fat seat already filled up from the previous evening. So we go into the cove while filling the fat sac in the bow, jump on a board and start wakeboarding while the sun is rising and it's about 80 degrees out side.
The wake is perfect, very clean, very firm, not to peaky, and not to rampy. I'm on my new wakeboard and bindings that I have never even used before (Parks 138 bio with CWB Zues boots) and I rode the best I have ever ridden since i broke my ankle 8 months ago. Just out in the Yota, catching sun, riding on the butter with My Wife, my 2 year old (that we had to wake up to get her out here), and 3 friends. Life just doesn't get any better than that. We had 3 sets each and unfortunantly it was time to load up and go to work. The lake was still glass and it was calling me to stay longer but I gotta pay those bills.
I love my Epic and I LOVE the Lake.. Makes me almost forget about all those days were there are 20 tubers, jetskiers, and other boats flying around like a mad circus.
