Northern CA Epics

I'd like to connect with anyone north of Fresno that has an Epic.  I'm interested in a "Club type function"  It Would be cool to get a bunch of epics out on a lake (maybe Lake Oroville?). I also like to talk to others about where they are currently taking thier boats for service.

Hey, I'll meet you on Oroville any time.  I take my Epic out there 2 or 3 times a week.

My baby is in the shop right now, getting fixed up from a collision with a submerged island. It should be done by Aug 23rd.

I'll be getting to Oroville soon after that. I am renting a houseboat from a friend at Bidwell marina on Sept 17th thru th 19th. We'll be skiing the middle fork. Come on over we shouldn't be hard to find. Epic 22 DD White Teal and Black. Just listen for AC/DC blaring "shoot to thrill".

Where did you take it to get repaired?  I had mine down in Sac at the beginning of the Summer but didn't feel super confident about the place.

I'll try to meet up with you out on Oroville.  I've got a red and white x22.

I Took my Boat to Cope Nc Phetres Marine at Bell Acqua. They have worked with my insurance company before, they are very well known and have a good reputation in the area.  

Cope has not worked on a Toyota before.

I'll let you know how they do.

Your instincts are "right on" about the former Toyota dealer here in Sac.  I can't recommend them.

I'll let you know when I'll be out on Oroville, I'll need to throughly test the boat before our Houseboat trip.

Do you usually launch at Bidwell, Lime Saddle or the Dam?

I launch at LimeSaddle simply because it is 20 min from my front door.  Bidwell is on the other side of the lake.  I've heard good things from Cope McFeders.  My employee just bought an X2 from them and they have taken good care of him.
