Engine was replaced July 2017 - new engine has approximately 50 hours of use
Overall, boat has 940 hours of use

For curiosity's sake, why did you have to replace the motor?

Other than factory ballast and the wakeshaper, any other mods for surfing? Any mods to the swim deck? Any pictures of the wave?

The motor might have had some freeze damage and I lost compression in 3 cylinders.

I am looking for a good photo of the surf wake I will post soon. the swim deck has been modified for surfing.

The Boat is located in south Easter Michigan.

What was you surf setup?

I was trying to find info about a good surf setup a little while back. I dug through old threads and found this:

"We get a good wake on our X22.  We run the stock 600lb in the rear and 750lb with 370lb on top next to the engine and 750lb in the bow on the floor.  If you put 2 to 3 people in the back seat, then the wake is even better.  We also made a new swim platform which is about 6in shorter on each side with 45deg angles cut on the back corners of the platform to prevent the water from curling over the platform."

I was using 1000lb in the rear locker and a delta wake shaper with a modified platform. The wake was better if you had 2 people sitting in the back seat. the above post is what I was using before I got the delta wake shaper.
