Caster bearing size

Hello,

My boat mechanic said my caster bearing is completely shot, and asked me to try to find the size or a good replacement for it.  I know there have been previous posts about caster bearings, but I did not see a size.  Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have a spare 1.125" strut, if you like I can measure the OD and length of the bearing. THis is for the Vdrive. If you have a D drive I am not sure if the strut is different or just the bearing. THe angle of the strut could be different, not sure. Capt Rick might know.

FYI it is called a cutlass bearing to replace it requires heat a press. Most prop shops can do it for you. Then the mechanic needs to realign so it wears evenly. If it has movement and or metal to metal replace it. If not don’t.

So my original 1" strut is bent and the only struts left on vintage store were for the V-Drive's 1 1/8" shaft.   Has anyone successfully gotten those to work by replacing the bearing?  Or is that a custom cutlass bearing I need to get made too?
