Solar Battery Tender / Maintaner
« on: May 29, 2023, 06:08:46 am »
I have a brand new battery and I’m wondering if anyone has had success using a solar battery tender/maintainer?

If you leave the boat in the water, yes it would make sense to have a tender to keep up the charge. I don’t recommend, leaving our boats in the water more than 30 days specially, if it’s a lot of Pineneedles acids in the lake causes blistering. If it’s out of the water, shut the battery switch off and any good battery will last at least two years before it needs a replacement.
