Got the new trailer!
« on: April 17, 2003, 15:24:53 pm »
The guys at Ameratrail are great.
Since these pics were taken, the alum rims
came and are now mounted.
The difference is amazing.
Now I can actually drive onto the trailer!
Best thing I've done for this boat.

FYI My old trailer was a single axle made
for the 21" DD Epic.  Mine is a 22" VD Epic.
I had stacked the bunks 3 high to get the
wider boat to clear the fenders.
It was a bit scary to tow.

that looks really nice, can't see the rims very well. Are they standard trailer wheels or something custom?

Whats up?
My camera is 5 megapixel.  In order for me
to meet the 200kb limit I had to make the pic tiny.

Those rims are the factory chrome.  Ameratrail
admitted they got hosed by the supplier on the quality
of the chrome.  They paid for a high-end rim but what they
got showed rust within a year.

I ordered a set of alumimun rims while I was at the factory.
They came within a couple of days and I had them mounted
ASAP.

You could set your camera to 640x480, or use an editing program to crop or reduce pixels :)
