That is an ice fishing pole! My kids like to catch little fish that hang out under the platform when we're anchored.

The fat seat was about 85% full, I'd say it was around 1200 lbs, plus me, my wife and my two kids.

How does evryone wweight their boat? I have a SX with internal ballast=#700, I then sent the overfill of the internal sacs to side sacs under the front two seats=#500. I will add two more sacs next to the engine=#700 soon.

Sounds like you are on the right track! Honestly, Toyotas don't have enough torque to handle more than about 2k of weight. The wake will be giant anyway.

The boat is slow when you add weight. The gas mileage really drops when weight is added.
