We are going to the boat show next weekend and want to get some new quick release racks and need to get a verification of the correct size diameter. i like to use the top cross-bar for my racks, and i think i read a old post that the top bar is different from the bottom bar.

Also, has anyone installed a Tower Mirror Mount, and if so, what is the diameter of that.

I'm pretty sure all the cross bars are the same, 1 5/8 or 40 mm. I bought 1 5/8 Rauls clamps and they fit like a glove.

If you are interested, I've got a pair of black Air Boom board racks that fit out towers. I'd sell em cheap.
