has anyone put satellite radion on the boat?  I purchased a mobile sirius rx today, it works great in the house, but was wondering if anyone has tried it in the boat yet.

I put XM on my boat a couple of years ago. I have the little Sony removeable one that they quit making. It works great, I'm going through an RF modulator now but that is coming out soon. It definitely sounds better through an aux input.

Mine is picky about the power supply, it takes 6 volts and is noisy without good power.  That's a pain.

Plenty of boats here have Sirius, that's what comes on Supras. I'm sure you'll like it.  I've listened to both a lot, there's great stuff all around.  Plus, it doesn't skip!

where did you mount the  antenna.  I want to get a marine grade one, there are some on e-bay.  Don't know much about them tho.

thanks.  with my harem of super-fine babes, the bow may be slightly crowded out.  I was even thinking on the dash behind the glass where it is hard to reach.  (above the instrument panels)

If you put it there then it will cut in and out anytime someone is moving around in the bow.
