Our boy has stomped it. He's got a 1UZ in a towboat, but likes to barefoot and couldn't get enough power out (wasn't VVT-i like ours), so he went on a mission to mount a supercharger. Fabricated an intake manifold, and then trashed that and bought the blower and twin aftercoolers from a Jaguar. Whipped all that into shape and now has what may be the coolest 1UZ around. Don't know how much boost he's running or how good his tune is, but considering the workmanship of the stuff he has done (including creating his own exhaust manifolds), I'm sure he's got it down.

What a great job. You can erad about the process here: http://lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1286&page=1&pp=20

Its Ford blue, I'm gonna cry. In a good way, it's definitely worthy. Henry Ford and Steve Toyota coulda been neighbors. Or was it Dave....?

Thanks for those nice replys i hope that you all had a nice xmas
it was a pretty big job to make it fit but i can tell you that it was worth every
bit it realy does go hard it has so much power and touqe
i am running about 10.4 PSI at the moment until its finished tuning
then i will go to 1Bar (14.7) psi then it will hall ass
i havent taking out the gps yet so i dont no how fast it goes my airguide speedos
go to 50mph and they go off the clock
i had to make my own exhausts because the ones that i had hit the floor when i got the
 hurth gearbox
i used bigger fuel injectors from a toyota supra 7mge motor lexus ones were to small
i will keep you all informed when i do some more testing thanks all.
thanks Derek for putting all those photos on the thread.

What kinda RPM are you getting at WOT with the three blade?

Standard question but it is a hell of a thing to think about a supercharged DOHC V8 at WOT or WFO as we sometimes call it! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
