MB Quart marine MP3 players
« on: April 01, 2005, 22:14:17 pm »
Just got a deal on a sweet MP3 player for the boat.

I've always been pleased with MB Quart's marine audio equip, and recently discovered the MB Quart NRA 450 on Ebay for $199.

We put it in last weekend and it is just as sweet as I expected.

Yep, it friggin' rules.  Especially the knobs -- one on the faceplate, a second on the remote.  The only problem is that the display is blue, and my millenium dash is red and green.  Dammit!

Did you get it from highdesertaudio? That'd be where mine came from.  It's the ebay dealer for the Rockford Fosgate factory refurb's.  Nice cuz with warranty stuff you're dealing directly with MB/Fosgate.

Pete, you asked before about who ripped off who's design -- the MBQ is the same thing as the Fosgate version.  Fosgate acquired MBQ a few years back, apparently.

Thanks Pete, great to be back!

Yeah Cal, I did get it from High Desert Audio. Love it.

Now if I could only get off my arse and send my blown tower speakers to Bose
to be warrantied... definitely not MB Quarts.

That's cool. Just as I was thinking how kick-ass this stereo is, it started rejecting disks. Once it gets on its kick it even rejects the nice expensive original ones that aren't burned.

Bastards.
