Lake Powell Junkies
« on: May 02, 2005, 19:26:48 pm »
For you Lake Powell junkies in Utah, Arizona, and Nevada, here is a database on water and lake conditions that I have been following.

http://lakepowell.water-data.com/WaterDB/LP_WaterDB.php

For the last three years the lake has been going down 1 to 3 inches a day. Drought sucks. For the last month, however, it has been rising 4 to 6 inches a day. It is currently up about 8 feet in the last month. That still leaves it at about 140 feet low, but they are saying it is going to rise around fifty more feet before July. Yahooooo. To celebrate, I hired a new first mate. You can see her on the left. Only her face is pictured because I didn't want to burn your eyes out with a full body shot of this hot mama.

bring on the water!!! WE have trips planned in July and September, so the more water the better.  Oh, and Bitzco, you have issues.

Just posted a photo of our recent trip on April 14th at Hole-in-the-Rock.

Water level was super low, but still had a great time!
