New Stuff Online
« on: August 05, 2005, 05:36:22 am »
I added an installation guide for the Digital Instruments.

I also upgrade the how-to page and called it Maintenance/TSBs and kinda organized the information there. We're getting so much good stuff it was starting to get all jumbled up. Hope this helps to find what you're looking for. Keep the good stuff coming!

No doubt, that stuff is awesome. I have a Morse throttle adjustment and cable install document that I have to scan, try to do it today. It's a fax but it's better than nothing. It is for our particular model shifter.

Cyclone,

If I am not mistaken, I gave a copy of that throttle stuff to Ramblin Wreck when I sold him my E21.  It is an original manual I think.  Possibly He could get it to you and it may scan better for the forum.

I just checked the paperwork I have with me and here is what I have. These are installation instructions. If any of it is useful, I will scan it when I get home next week.

CH2200/2300 series side mount single lever controls (Teleflex): There is good news and bad news regarding adjustment and maintenance. The bad news - Under the maintenance section it states that "if stiffness of operation develops, disconnect cables from the engine and check operation. If stiffness is due to cable, it must be replaced." The good news is under the Throttle Brake Adjustment section of the installation instructions - There is an adjustable friction device (brake) that is designed to prevent throttle creep. There is a picture of the adjustment screw and instructions on how to adjust.

SH 91500 (Tapered), 91510 (Splined) Series Performance Tilt System(Teleflex)

SH 91525 (Big-T Helm) Performance Tilt System

Owner's Manual and User's Inisrtructions - Model A-60 & A-70 Hydraulic Brake Actuator (28 pages!)

TMS Trailer Maintenance Guide - one page document coverinig basic issues. I found it interesting that "The system uses standard brake pads off a '91 Plymouth Acclaim". These should be easy to find. But wait, "The pads that come from the factory have a galvanized backing plate however, so it is advisable to order OEM pads when doing a brake pad replacement."

It sounds like the same stuff and more. It would definitely be worth scanning. The fax I have kind of sucks. Wreck, can you scan it or let me borrow it for a week or so, I'll send it  back.

That might have been me, about 2PM maybe, with a 2003 blue 4Runner. Good to hear about Tony. I may go back up there now for service. He knows my boat better than most.
