The Perfect Pass power wire, beeotches
« on: August 13, 2005, 02:57:40 am »
Perfect Pass tells you to wire it to the ignition, but for whatever reason, the power on PP cuts out whenever we cross our own wake or hit a double-up, and the thing resets.  Anybody have this problem? What did you do to fix it...just wire the power wire to something else?  What else has a consistent power source (that only turns on when the boat is running) that I can wire to?  Stereo remote wire's out -- we often listen to the stereo without the boat running, don't want PP on at the same time.

I miss you all, and I miss wakeboarding.  Please call my boss and tell him to stop working me to death.

It's cutting out because that little  blue splice gizmo that they give you doesn't have a good connection. Clamp it down again and secure it with a wire tie, to the purple ignition wire.
