Gauge Noise
« on: September 05, 2005, 04:46:55 am »
Just bought a 2000 x22 and had it out for the first time.  When you turn the key for the first time the gauges make a funny whirring and clicking noises.  They actually quit working for a short period of time and came back on after bouncing across a wake.  Any ideas?

The gauges max then go to zero at engine start. The gauges stopping is a possible white plug  loose or the plug going into the Black MMDC under `the dash. ( the mess of wires). remove the small gray harness going into the black thing- a- ma- bob.MMDC.
