Yet another cover request

I am going to buy a new cover for my '00 X22.  I do not want the one that goes over the tower.  I have speakers mounted on top of my tower and it folds over just fine, but the stock 'bat wing' cover wont fit. 


I was hoping that you guys would know if a cover for another boat like the regular Epic 22 or SX22 with tower cut outs would work?  Are the hulls the same?  Do the towers mount in the same place?

Also, I am about 99 percent sure I will NOT be getting a Rankin cover.  I have read ALL of the previous threads.  I know you guys are all big fans of the Rankins.  Seriously, you guys are like drug dealers with those things. "try it you will like it"  .... "everyone is getting one" ....  etc.

All of the after market covers from coverquest and overton's are "over the tower" style covers for the X22.  I called Coverquest but they wanted me to contact the Manufacturer.  HA.

Also, does anyone have a Sharkskin Cover?  how does it compare to the Sunbrella material.  It the Sunbrella worth the extra coin?

This is sunbrella, tower up with cut outs for factory tower legs.  order in TMS parts. Sharkskin n/available

FYI, the SX cover with the cutouts will fit an E22/X22 with factory tower, more or less. The  back tower legs are not a perfect fit but it will work anyway. The cover could be modded easily for a perfect fit.

Can't wait to get my (new 2 me) SX with that bitchen RANKIN cover;)
