After i blew out my bearings 2 years ago, and having a hard time finding the bearings locally. I ordered a spare pair of bearings, seals and racers from ameritrail. Single axle trailer has huge bearings. Have'nt had to use them and hopefully won;t for a few years. It is a nightmare trying to clean up a blown bearing set and repacking new ones on the side of I-85.

On the topic of trailer replacement parts, it's true, Amera Trail may not be carrying parts since they have changed to other suppliers.

I do think you can get parts from any good trailer supply store.  I just picked up replacement bearings, races and seals from Henderson Parts here in Orem, UT 888 586-8744.  They had several options for all these parts (some made in Romania, China or Taiwan) at different prices.  A full set for my dual axle trailer cost $80.00.  Most of the parts they pulled off the shelf in front of me and didn't need to go into the back-office inventory area.

Part Numbers:

Qty (4) - L68110 Inner Bearing Cup/Race
Qty (4) - L68149 Inner Bearing
Qty (4) - L44610 Outer Bearing Cup/Race
Qty (4) - L44649 Outer Bearing
Qty (2) - 58846C Spindo Spring Seal
Qty (2) - 233-168-SP2-1 Spindo Spring Seal

That is great information and a really good price!  My local trailer company could not find the spindles or rotor/hub parts anywhere.  I had to call Ameritrail to get them.  As for the bearing kits, I paid 120 for my set of 4 (from Ameritrail).  Ameritrail has been very good at finding the parts, but Curt has told me more than once, that he has to try to get them from other places (probably why it costs more).

I posted how to use Bearing Buddies on here once. They are 30$ but you don't have to clean your wheels every time.

The new oil bath bearings are the sheot, we could probably get them somehow.

What I did with mine, the trailer and rims were galvanized grease all over the rims .I painted the trailer and put chrome rims  on.I bought the center caps for the rims, and bearing buddies with the rubber boot on after repacking, filled the bearing buddies and sealed the center caps so no water got in. I slightly overfilled the bearing buddies and they ( bearing buddies) popped off in the caps. This time I wrapped plastic around the bearing buddie and counted how many pumps with the gun,and did a half pump less and haven't had a problem  since I do the bearings once year and the grease looks brand new no leaks. The rims are always clean also I painted the calipers on all four wheels that looks nice. Hope that answers your question.
