I'm at about 60hrs since I bought my 2000 epic brand new in march of this year.  Sure hope I can get a few more in since it's rained about a foot here in NW washington in the last week.

BTW wish I'd gotten red BOOM that looks nice!

Awesome to see the picture-posting frenzy!

I think we're only at 31 this year. Bummer, but not all that bad considering all the work travel this year (think I'm at like 37%, and that includes weekend days). Got probably another 25 in family weekend trips and once winter starts, I hope to get out at least every other week. Nothing compared to most of you guys.

WARNING - skinny hairelss white guy pic, but hey, I'm the head librarian, you expect me to be outside often?

2000Epic -- I looked at your boat back in December at SkiMasters!  Too funny.  Anyways, same thing I've said a million times -- if  you're in Meydenbauer Bay, swing by and say "Hi".  I have a black and white X22 with a black tower.  It's parked on a boat lift in front of the only red-brick house on the east shore of Meydenbauer.  And Meydenbauer is pretty much the only place we hang out.

I've logged right around 70 hours this year, but have used the boat an average of probably 4+ times a week (we shut off the engine most of the time, to SAVE hours).  Plus, it's usually too rough to wakeboard, so we just anchor in the bay.  So my hours are a little deceiving -- don't show usage.

I've been trying to get a day in on lake WA, maybe when I pick up my boat from ski-masters (it's getting some warranty work done).

Blindside:  I highly recomend Mako products...fit, finish, and price are unparallleled.  I shop at wakeside.com, they have: the best prices, deliver ahead of projected delivery dates, give you 10% of your purchases back as store credit, and give $25 gift if you review a product you have purchased.

The wind really sucked at Mojave last weekend....

That's in the Havasu channel - I get a little, shall we say, focused when I'm driving through that mess. Then again, I love it - our friends would rather drive around the island, but to me it's fun to cruise through and watch all the knuckleheads. Kinda cool that things have toned down over the years, cuz we're always there with the kids and I'd hate to nopt be able to go through there because of them. Then again, most people would probably sheat themselves if their six year old saw pasties. Not great, but he understands that some people are just whack, and are fun to sort of laugh at.

Thursday morning was THUNDERSTORMS (weatherman called them 'treadmill monsoon'), but by the afternoon, we were out and it was a 100% perfect Havasu day. Friday was nice but started to get crowded and Saturday was just rough. By then, though, Brandon was as tired as a six year old rider gets, and I had taken my share of falls. Friday I rode from Steamboat to the dam (maybe like 11 miles?) and throughout that whole ride, neither HS or TS felt anywhere close to decent. Guess it's the age ;-) Anyways, the weather was awesome from Thurs AM onward.
