Does anyone know what the max rpm governor on the epic's is set at? I know the max hp output rating is a 6000 rpm. Is that what the governor is set at as well?  :-\

I have never felt the engine hit the rev limiter. The boat would go 44 mph with the stock 3 blade @5900 rpm. With a four blade, it goes about 39.5 @ about the same rpm.

I don't go fast anyway. Where I ride there is rarely enough flat water to go wide open with people in the boat. The four blade is the way to go for wakeboarding. It makes the boat much easier to drive at wakeboarding (21mph) speeds. I run a 13x13 OJ 4 bl 1" lh with heavy cup.

Thanks...I'm running at high altitude and working on sizing the prop with a vendor who requested the infor. I'll let you know how it turns out.
