<- Begin long winded post!!!
lesman: I tin foiled this portion of the hull and locker and laid in there for the better part of an hour Houdini style with a gas mask on as I applied the first fiberglass mat and resin to make the bottom part of the shell. Once it dried I plucked it out of there and then stretched fleece over the top and applied more resin, let dry then more glass and resin. First iteration was to small for the sub so I cut out a hole on the top and used a piece of Tupperware to mold a bigger space for the sub. Hence the bump on the top and the crazy none symmetrical shape. I suppose I could mold it and figure something out, something new to learn!
"If" I where to do it again I think I would probably do it behind the false wall in the locker where Pete put his extra battery in his old boat. More room back there for a bigger enclosure, and would probably be able to get closer to the q factor for the sub. I think the punch was .75 cubic feet for the smallest size of a sealed enclosure and this one is .68. One thing I do know from this project is that working with resin and fiber glass sucks and I pretty much never want to do it again.
flyn2001: I hear you on the cramped space in that locker. I reworked all of the wiring that I had done by a reputable local installer in Seattle. They ran the wire poorly and did not take advantage of the built in conduit on the upper part of the inside of our hulls. Pain in the butt and I have enough bruises to prove it. To bad I did not figure out till the end of the project I had plenty of help inside the house that was busy playing with crayons and blocks. Should have busted out this secret weapon way earlier in the project.

Cal: Thanks for the compliments. I have seen/heard the quality or your work in the old Epic and the new Supra. Both are fantastic and I am sure the sand bar for the next round up will appreciate it as well. Hopefully this year I can at least stay sober long enough past noon to comprehend it is easier to get the boat back on the trailer before the sun sets.
Steve: Still laughing about the EMP, glad you like it... I don't have a db meter but how about I turn it up on Friday at 5pm and you let me know if you hear it down at Mason lake.

Pete: Nice work on the sub. I find that most of my projects somehow originate from your ideas and they always make the boat better (as long as I don't tangent from them to far). Next phase HK D+P with pass through for multi-boat hookup.
Cal did you say dual RCA's, RJ45 or 3.5mm head phone jack?
