They're pretty awesome boats. I got to climb around one at the January boat show here in San Diego. The transom audio and LED lighting are some of the very cool features. I even got an EPIC keychain fob for my boat key.

FYI back in the day five years ago or so, one of us found Chris Anthony's website for Epic boats. I thought it was a high school web page project or something, it turns out the guy was serious. Chris is a member of this site, he introduced himself and asked us for input about what we all would like to see in a dedicated wakeboard boat. Some of the things we suggested are now part of that boat, so even if it isn't a Toyota, it has some heritage and some things that are part of our boats are part of his new boat. I applaud him for doing something different and doing something new from scratch. The boat is not for me but it is definitely a contender for the wake king types. Yes, he is having teething problems but I'd still consider that boat if I were looking for a new one.

Hey guys, as I mentioned in an earlier posting (back a few months) i drove one of these boats for a semi-pro rider and was amazed at the performance!  The dual rudder and the 8.1L V8 is well...more than enough power.  Of all the companies out there I hope they make it...short of Toyota making boats again that is...  Anyways, I have been looking at one of the rep models (only $50K)! But just wait these guys are working on a 21ft closed bow model that will seat about 16 people and an electric/hybird for next year....for what it's worth...JD

He he he... I was at the annual "Waketoberfest" here in Austin this past fall and they had a few of them out there... heard two of them broke down. -Even though I'm ridiculously biased, I wasn't real impressed with the hull shape. Not to mention, it ain't no Lexus.

I was in Coeur 'd Alene, ID where the only NW dealer is (and Im assuming Spokane rode it on Lake CDA) and their tester just left so I didnt actually get to see the dang thing but I plan on playing with it the first week in Aug when Im in CDA for a week.

I saw one of these at the lake on Friday.  It engine was so loud it was annoying from the other side of the lake.  Are they all this loud or had they modified the one that I saw to remove the silencer?

I dont know, but the NW dealer in CDA Idaho (Moosecamp Sports) is out of business FWIW.
