Quieting audible alarm?
« on: July 28, 2008, 20:46:04 pm »
I can't take the alarm anymore! You know, the one that hurts the ears when you turn the key to 'on.' I've been looking for it for a while and can't seem to locate where the little alarm speaker is on the E21. I just want to make it a little quieter with a piece of tape or something, and minimize the headaches!

I think there must be a post on here about it, but haven't been able to find it. Anyone find it, or a picture of the alarm unit?

Brilliant! Thanks guys. Every time I stick my head under the dash to look, it sounds like it's coming from everywhere and I end up with an ear-ringing headache. Now that I have a picture, it's going down.
