back ballast sack.
« on: August 24, 2008, 03:22:19 am »
My ballast sack has a leak coming out of the exsaust (drivers side) port right were the hose is attatched to the bag.  I think the guy who had it before me put in a bigger bag, (said it hold 800lb).  I was thinking of just seeling it shut and just make sure it is empty of air before filling.  Is there a cheaper aftermarket one that will fit.  The one on here is $400. Thanks Bart

I had a custom sack built to nearly fill the back compartment on my X22.  Contact Fly High and see if they can access my measurements... (my last name starts with Ble..., that should be enough for them to look it up) the sack worked great and I think is around $280.  I blew-through three of the factory bags... and had enough.  Fly High uses a much heavier-duty material than all the others.
