Perfect pass acting up??
« on: June 17, 2009, 04:28:27 am »
What's up boys?

I'm somewhat new on this board.  I don't post, mostly read when I visit, but now I need some trouble shooting help.  I've got Pete's old 2000 Epic 22 and it's been working flawless for 2 years.  When I got out today the Perfect Pass was acting crazy.  I would set it like normal for 22-24 mph and then take off.  It will beep, like normal, when I get up to speed, but would not take over and regulate the speed/throttle.  It turns on and off like usual and asks all the questions like it's supposed to do ("neutral /\-Yes") just won't work.  It was fine last season...before winterizing.  Been using the neighbors new boat this spring and this was first time out wakeboarding this year.  Where should I start looking?  Any and all help is welcome.  Thanks boys.

Me being the lazy-arse I am from time to time I just came here and posted a help me thread.  I located the product support page on Perfect Pass's website.  I'll try what they suggest and then report back for more help if it doesn't work.

Do the servo test, it sounds like one winding of your servo crapped out. It's an easy fix, remove and replace.
