Getting back to this topic (in the middle of SNOW ski season  ::)), where could I put the GPS PP in my 99 E22 (classic 7 guage dash)?  I dont have the huge speedo that everyone replaces with the PP...

And I got a nice Sony HU (normally not a huge fan but my buddy has it in his car and it sounds pretty good) for xmas for the Epic, Aux and iPod inputs.  Now for speakers and maybe a sub...

I put my GPS sensor between the dash and windshield. I also took out the LH Speedo and put the display head there or you could put it where the tach is and move the tach in place of RH speedo. Either would work.

So PP StarGazer makes a guage that fits in the 98-99 style speedo spot?

Whats the difference between Wake Edition and 3-Event? I doubt Ill ever have a course to use my E22 on so if thats the only difference between the 2 Ill save $200 and get the Wake Edition.

Perfect Pass makes a gauge to fit either the speedo opening or tach opening. Regarding the difference between the Perfect Pass models: if you slalom ski at all you need the 3 event unit, if you ever ski jump you need the 3 event. If you NEVER do the proceeding then buy the wakeboard edition and save some green.

I put my XM antenna way up under the bow by the bow eye. It was not often blocked by boat traffic. Dash location will be blocked by people with an open bow. I'd test it in a couple of places before you mount it permanently. I use that grey doublestick 3m tape they sell at auto parts stores. It has a red backing and it's for automotive trim.

Thats what I thought, their website is slightly misleading because it says the Wakeboard Edition can do simple RPM-based slalom in their brochure http://www.perfectpass.com/download/StarGazer-Wake-Flyer.pdf , page 2 under Features:
"Three operating modes (Speed based
wakeboard, RPM and simple Slalom)"

We mostly tube and board behind the Epic, our friend MC usually does the skiing (they ski but dont board, whenever we go we use their boat).  Would like to learn to wakesurf soon, need some ballast and a board though.

Yes it will do simple RPM based slalom, but if you do any slalom course work you have to have 3 event which does it all.
