Looking for an Epic S22 or SX 2001

I have been looking on and off this site for a couple of months now and it is an awesome site, after researching boats for a couple of months (years) now, the V-drive is the one. I'm from British Columbia, Canada and have been looking to buy something in the Washington State area (Idaho, Oregon), if there is anyone in that area interested in selling please let me know. I did find one in Everett, but the guy does not know a thing about the boat, so I am a little sceptical. He wants $17,500.00, it's a 2001 S22,white with polar blue stripe. I'd like to buy an Epic from someone on this site so I know it's a boat well looked after.

The thing is with the one in Everett, the guy selling said he has a Wrecking licence and it has two  small fiberglass repairs needed at the front and rear of the boat and some upholstery damage in the bow seat. They have also had it in salt water and back in to fresh water. The family has had it since the beginning of the summer and now are selling.
 Does any one know of this boat or maybe who the previous owner was? 2001 S22 white with polar blue stripe from Everett WA? Registration # WN8840RK

Sounds like enough info to not even go look at.  Fiberglass damage and some saltwater use...I think I would continue to shop...

It is very tempting for the price and it is a Toyota Epic ,but I think I will continue to look.

I just bought my 2001 s22 yesterday and love it! i payed 16,000 for it and it is in pretty good shape. is that a pretty good deal for that boat?

That is a great price.  The only way my 01 S22 would sell for $16k is if I am DEAD and the wife sold it.  Hahaha

i live in kansas i bought it from a lady in wichita i guess she just bought it in march and got laid off from boeing. i love the boat and cant wait until this weekend.

T100, I know you are looking for a V-Drive but I have an 2000 X22 that I am looking to move at a great price.  I live in Vancouver, Washington and have actually taken the boat to Penticton BC for a two week vacation for the last three years.

BTW, the boat has never been in salt water and I have replaced a fair amount of the vinyl because of sun block stains and splits from getting in and out of the boat.
