Check out this!!! First outing
« on: June 03, 2004, 15:43:06 pm »
Shakedown cruise yesterday in my new boat. Bought it at Ski-Masters in Seattle. It is a '99 with 80 hours on it and just cherry condition. It is soooo Swwweeett. The girls loved the wake for skiing, but I found it to be a liitle hard still. Anybody have any ideas? I had a short rope (about the max off) so I was barely past the spray. More pics on the way.

REPRESENTIN !!!!

Tundra, X22...you're extra welcome to the site now!

Looks very nice, enjoy it - we know you will. My v-drive throws nasty spray at shorter than 15 off. The good news about that is that it throws no spray at wakeboard speeds (unlike many other boats).

We're stoked for you!

Jeff, congrats. I have almost the same one but in black...and get it serviced at Ski Masters (bought it in Cali).  Also, I'm the only other Seattleite that posts on this site.  If you are ever on Lake Washington, be sure to come find me. I'm usually hanging out in Meydenbauer Bay...pretty much every day that is somewhat sunny. Or drop me an email anytime you're thinking about heading out.

There are actually quite a few Toyotas on Lake Washington, I did a lap last week and counted 4...and those are just the ones that are moored.

Congrats again!

Hey Cal, Thanks for the reply! I am in Wenatchee, so will probably not be on Lk Wash. anytime soon. We are on Lk Entiat (Columbia river above Rocky Reach dam) every hot afternoon. When you get over this way let me know. How was your trip to Lk Pateros? Sounds like it was pretty uncrowded for a Memorial day weekend.

Take care, Jeff

Jeff-  Pateros was absolutely awesome. We had a post going on wakeworld with all the major players also. There were only 5 boats in the water, and we would run for an entire afternoon without passing another boater. Was absolutely amazing.  But so COLD.....

Entiat was our first choice, but all campgrounds were full. Ended up booking 6 rooms at the Motor Inn.  Anyway, I'll let you know next time I'm over there.  We'd like to go back to Pateros, but it sounds like the Motor Inn is booked out for the whole summer already.  Darn.  Gotta find a new spot!

What's the best campground at Entiat? I heard Lincoln Rock State Park was nice. We need one that isn't too strict about quantity of tents and vehicles...
