Buying advice
« on: June 18, 2011, 06:20:43 am »
I am looking at purchasing a 2001 Epic 22 with 130 hrs on it for $17,500.  Is this a good deal or do you think that I am spending too much money?

Thanks a lot,
Uncia

Need a lot more information.

Condition?
E22?, S22? which model?
Upholstery condition?
Maintenance?
Trailer?
Were?, a boat in the south may sell for more than a boat in the north.

That price is decent but you've got a lot of variables to deal with also. Plus, these boat are worth a hell of a lot more than book value.

It is an E22, all maintenance has apparently been performed, the upholstery is in excellent condition and the boat is as clean as you could reasonably expect both inside and out.  It includes both a cover and trailer.
