Alternatives to the bhimini top

Hey all I seem to have a Sunbrella brand bhimi top that is starting to rip, I am wondering if anyone has successfully used a wakeboard tower type cover instead?  If so, is there a brand anyone recommends that will fit the stock x22 wakeboard tower?  Are there any disadvantages?
