If you go to Maintenance section, click on "S22 Owners Manual" in the "Manuals Section"  This is a huge PDF file, but good to have.  In section 1, pages 3, 4 and 5 it explains how to set different alarms and their paremeters on your DDU,( Digital Display Unit) such as depth, oil pressure, Fuel remaining and other stuff.  As Capt. Rick metioned, your alarm may have come from your depth finder which may have momemtairly had picked up a real shallow reading ( .02 ) and sent the alarm.  Were you launching the boat or pulling into a slip or happening to be beaching your epic (God Forbid!) when the alarm whent off?  Usually, there is a heading over the alarm, that would say oil pressure, fuel or depth but you may not have noticed.  Let me know if this has helped.

couldn't have been shallow our lake is very deep (900ft in places not far from shore) and i didnt notice any headings

I do get an oil preasure warning once and a while, around 18psi. I read on here that is a sensor problem but i have yet to replace it

thanks for the info breakawaydaze ! ill read more in the manual and follow up if i find anything next time im out

If you pull up the floor boards and look in front of the fuel tank, do you have a depth sounder? My SX is supposed to, but does not... Occasionally I get a visual alarm of 0.0.. however it never makes any sound.

Does anyone know a compatible transponder I can buy and install into my SX?
