I recommend inspecting the belt for any dry or cracks and inspect the water pump for white deposits under and around the pump. To inspect the belt remove the starboard plastic timing cover to do a visual on the belt.
One customer thoght he can do it and replaced his engine after the piston hit the open valve. Ask the person if they have done a VVTI engine before.

Maybe a dumb question but why a new pump, Idler Assemblies etc...

Can't you just change the belt and o-rings/gaskets?
