E Button on Accuski
« on: July 02, 2013, 05:43:02 am »
The E button (which I assume means enter) stopped working on my Accuski (SX22). Does anyone have any experience with fixing or replacing the unit? All the other buttons and the display is working fine.

From what I can tell you cannot really get a new Accuski that will work with the SX22. However, is there an alternative that would show depth, engine hours, gallons of gas etc.  I do have a Perfect Pass, but that is limited to speed and RPM.

send me the Vin number I could validate that you do have Accu skiing unless you can look back on your engine and see and you have to Redfoot button otherwise the E could be at fault
You could send me the digital dash display and I could go through a check series with the computer and see what's working what's not working
Does all the other display items work

Thanks for the reply Capt Rick - The VIN number is TMME0018B101 - 2001 Epic SX.

All other functions work on the unit, except the E button. So is there a repair process for these units?

The boat came with air and depth and accuski

The "E " is checked in all screens if you go to any screen and press E does it work : try contrast go to max 10 with arrow and press E does it enter the screen number ?

Try to shut off power at battery switch and leave off for 15 minutes. Then retest see what doesnt work.

There are no repairs available but not sure if it is the MMDC or a bad Digital display.

I have a tester so if you send MMDC and Digital dash I can try to determine which is bad.
