Transmission Filter Cleaning?

I looked back at old treads about transmission filter cleaning but did not find information how.  What cleaning solution and could someone explain the technique?

I suggest if the filter has any metal filings or has dirty to change filter and pump out transmission fluid. The kit has a oring but suggest reusing original as there is a size difference.

If you want to clean it use pressure air. and parts cleaner. But it should be clean.
