anyone know the size of the battery compartment for a 99 e21?

I wanted to get a new battery.  something that will handle the boat.  lost a couple in the last couple years and found out that marine batteries are built to handle the vibration.  so the boat is 3 hours away from me and I want to make sure I get the right one.  I hear the optima 34m will fit.  also hear die hard gels are good.  but I don't want to buy something I cant return cause it wont fit in the boat.  can anyone help me out.

I Don't know the size but have been through several batteries... Finally decided best thing to do is get a 3 year replacement no pro rata battery from auto zone or Costco.  They never last 3 years and I have not paid for a battery in over 7 years.

battery that will fit is called a 58  series battery

Have ~450 hours and 11 years on my Optima blue top, and it's been in my daily driver pickup for probably five years. Maybe just got lucky, but holy crap, that was the very best $180 a boat guy could spend.
