Floating boat lifts

I'm looking, they are not cheap! Thinking of the inflatable type, I can buy one new for less than a used hydrohoist with hard tanks and bunks that would likely need modification

they run used about 4k around here and will likely need repair, modification, hassle etc. I have been looking at several other types, in the 2500$ range

planning on putting 2x 120 watt solar panels on roof and a 12vdc group 27 deep cycle to provide dock power for led lights and hoist etc.

Goin with the Airdock inflatable boat lift. Its the cheapest and people give it high marks, very easy to install and reconfigure. I got the OK from the Corps guy to put 2X solar panels on the roof of the dock and have a DC dock power system to inflate it, power lights, disco ball,  etc.

I have a friend on the Cumberland River and he uses the one like you are buying and it works well for his 28 footer

Pete, those new fangled laser disco balls that look like flasjlights are SOOO sick! Dude next to us last year pulled in after dark, dropped the bimini, then hung a couple from the tower. So sick. Fog machine woulda really kicked it up.

The kids are banging on me to put some transom LEDs in this year. Getting pretty cheap at Bass Pro, etc. We hang out in the water at night quite a bit, so apparently it'll make the diving mo betta. Gonna have to punch a hole somewhere...

K so I did the airdock. put it together and deployed it in an afternoon, quality product and it works as advertised. I read the awesome specs on the materials and everything is cool if you are not running the boat in 50% concentrated acetic, nitric or sulfuric acid. Hydrochloric is fine. Gets my John Wayne American Badass Product award.

Oh, and I cleaned hull, wet sanded, removed stickers and waxed the daylights out of my SX, for those that saw it all nasty at the roundup:)
